Epilepsy & Seizure Disorders

Individualized homeopathic care for children and adults.

Therapist

Bonjour, and thank you for stopping by!

If you've found your way to this page, chances are you or someone you love has epilepsy.

Perhaps you've been living with seizures for years. Maybe the diagnosis is recent. You may already be working with a neurologist and wondering whether there is anything else you can do to support your health.

Classical homeopathy offers a different perspective. Rather than focusing only on the diagnosis, I work to understand you as a whole person and how epilepsy has affected your life.

Every Person Has Their Own Story

Every Person's Story

Epilepsy affects every person differently.

Some people know exactly when the seizures began. Others don't. Some have warning signs before a seizure, while others don't. For some, lack of sleep is a trigger. For others, stress, illness, or hormonal changes seem to play a role.

Just as importantly, epilepsy affects daily life differently. It may influence your confidence, your independence, your sleep, your energy, your mood, or your family's routines.

Before I think about choosing a remedy, I want to understand your story.

Why So Many Questions

Why I Ask So Many Questions

One of the questions I hear most often is:

"Why are you asking about my sleep when I came because of                                     epilepsy?"

The answer is simple. Homeopathy isn't based on the diagnosis alone. It's based on understanding the whole person.

Of course we'll talk about your seizures, but I'll also want to know when they first began, whether anything significant happened beforehand, what they're like, what makes them better or worse, and how they've changed over time.

We'll also discuss many other aspects of your health, including your sleep, energy, digestion, food preferences, emotional health, personality, stress, fears, and anything else that makes you uniquely you.

At first, some of these questions may seem unrelated to epilepsy. In classical homeopathy, however, they often provide the most valuable clues when selecting a remedy.

Beyond the Diagnosis

Looking at the Bigger Picture

Although epilepsy may be the reason you scheduled an appointment, it's rarely the only thing we'll discuss.

Many people also experience other health concerns such as anxiety, poor sleep, fatigue, headaches, digestive issues, hormonal changes, or medication side effects.

Rather than looking at each symptom separately, I try to understand how they fit together as part of your overall health picture. This broader perspective helps me individualize your treatment and gives us a way to measure progress over time.

A collaborative approach

Working Alongside Your Neurologist

Most people who come to see me are already working with a neurologist or another healthcare provider. They aren't looking to replace that care. They're looking for another perspective, one that considers the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Homeopathy is intended to complement conventional medical care, not replace it. I do not recommend stopping or changing anti-seizure medications without the guidance of your prescribing physician.

I encourage all of my patients to continue working closely with their neurologist and healthcare team throughout treatment.

What to Expect

What to Expect

Healing is different for every person.

Some people notice changes in sleep, energy, mood, or their overall sense of well-being before they notice changes elsewhere. Others experience more gradual progress over time.

During our follow-up appointments, we'll review your response to the remedy, observe how your symptoms are changing, and make adjustments when needed.

My goal isn't just to prescribe a remedy. It's to work with you over time, support your overall health, and help you move toward greater balance and resilience.

Is Homeopathy Right for You?

Whether you're looking for support for yourself or your child,
I'd be honored to learn your story.

We'll discuss your health history, answer your questions,
and determine whether my approach is the right fit for you.
